When a truck is robbed, one of the drivers is killed and another is seriously injured. The investigations always lead Lena Odenthal and Mario Kopper back to the shipping company, because it quickly becomes apparent that there was an informant within the company. When Lena and Kopper find out about the shipping company's payment difficulties, the perpetrator seems to have been identified. But then a second murder occurs and the two detectives have to start their investigation all over again.
A Family Affair
En route to work, Eisner suddenly stumbles upon a police operation—a double suicide has occurred. It is nothing out of the ordinary for Inspector Weiler, the slightly indifferent colleague investigating at the crime scene. A man has apparently shot his wife and then himself. A clear-cut case—but not for Moritz Eisner. He spots suspicious traces, suggesting that a third party must have been present in the apartment.

Two scuba divers discover a man's body during a dive in Lake Achensee in Tyrol. The body has been weighed down with chains and an umbrella stand and sunk. Apparently, the deceased had been lying at the bottom of the lake for about 15 years. The autopsy reveals that the man was shot with a shotgun.
