Mon chou
In a casting room, Claire and Louis judge fruits and vegetables as if they were contestants in a beauty contest. Weight, appearance and texture become absurd elimination criteria. After a series of ruthless rejections, their choice falls on a Brussels sprout, plain and unpopular, deemed “perfect” because it fits the norms. A short, ironic satire of society’s imposed beauty standards.
