Screenwriter Guo Jia, forced by circumstances, drives back to the city late at night with her younger sister Guo Yan. On a remote mountain road, their car breaks down. Stranded in the wilderness, they are soon caught in a series of bizarre and deadly threats, where it becomes impossible to distinguish between reality and illusion.
