Mariko is an innocent girl who grew up in the highlands of Shinshu. She moves to Tokyo to live with her father who has successfully returned to Japan. Mariko is simply confused by the life in Tokyo, which is different from her own. Only her private tutor Daisuke was an advisor she could tolerate.
