Stephen Coombs

Stand-up comedian, playwright, and performer Stephen Coombs added screenwriter and filmmaker to his repertoire, with the debut screening of his 2023 Short Film, “World’s Greatest Dad.” A collaborative effort developed through the NIFCO Introduction to Film course. Stephen’s foray into film follows on the heels of his most recent one-man show Here & Now; a deeply personal yet relatable portrayal of his journey with cancer that is equally touching and hilarious in its observations.
