Dag-Alexis Kopplin
The two musicians Vincent Stein—also known in the German hip-hop scene as the producer "Beatzarre"—and Dag-Alexis Kopplin met as teenagers in Berlin-Spandau. In 1999, they founded SDP—at the time operating under the name "Stonedeafproduction"—though today the acronym SDP serves as the band's official name. In 2002, they released their first demo, *Angriff aus Berlin*. Jürgen Kuttner from the radio station You FM provided the intro for the program *Nightline*. Following their debut album, *Räuberpistolen*, several other releases followed; however, their major breakthrough did not occur until 2010 with the song "Ne Leiche," taken from the album *Kontrastprogramm*. The accompanying music video—featuring rapper Sido as a prominent guest star—became a viral hit, garnering over 50.2 million views on YouTube (as of January 2020).
