Ramón G. Larrea
Military man, employee, language teacher and actor. He participated in the defense of Bilbao and the liberation of San Sebastian (Guipuzcoa) and in October 1936 he joined the Republican Aviation as inspector of the Flight Schools abroad. Later he was inspector of instruction of the Troops Group of the Undersecretary of Aviation; director of the School of Training of Commands of the Aviation Arm and Military Commander of Sabadell (Barcelona) with the rank of lieutenant colonel, in the Republican zone of Catalonia. In the final moments of the civil war he went into exile in France, and from there he moved to Mexico in 1939. He lived in Mexico City where he initially worked in the company Aquilaka Publicidad y Radiodifusión as a commercial agent. He was later a theater and film actor. He died in the Mexican capital on September 11, 1981.
