Anna Schudt

Anna Schudt (born March 23, 1974, in Constance) is a German actress, voice artist for radio plays and audiobooks, and International Emmy Award winner. She became known to a wider audience primarily through her role as *Tatort* Commissioner Martina Bönisch, which she played between 2012 and 2023. In addition to numerous stage productions—such as *Maria Stuart* at the Residenztheater Munich—she has appeared before the camera in over 70 film and television productions since 2002. Anna Schudt grew up in the Egg district of Constance as the elder of two daughters born to a biochemist and a body therapist. She gained her first theatrical experience at the Theater Konstanz. At the age of 17, she began her acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich.
