Katharina Beissel

Katharina Elisabeth Gerhardt (born November 13, 1978, in Bonn as Katharina Elisabeth Beissel) is a German actress and model. Katharina Elisabeth Gerhardt is the daughter of conductor Heribert Beissel; she initially worked successfully as a model and a contestant in beauty pageants. Among other titles, she was named Runner-up Miss North Rhine-Westphalia, Miss Baden-Württemberg, and Miss Berlin Film Festival. After beginning studies in physics and astronomy, she completed an acting program at the Fritz Kirchhoff Acting School "Der Kreis," graduating in 2003.
