Carmen Sevilla (1930-2021) was a renowned Spanish actress and singer who enjoyed a long and acclaimed career in film, television, and music. Born in Seville, Spain, Sevilla developed an early passion for the performing arts, honing her talents as a dancer and vocalist while still a child. Sevilla's big break came in the late 1940s, when she was discovered by a film producer and offered a role in the Spanish comedy "Yo Soy Muy Malo." This marked the beginning of her rise to stardom, as Sevilla went on to appear in a string of successful Spanish-language films throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
